You've heard the pitch I'm sure, maybe in Brooklyn or Harlem, perhaps Philly or right here in D.C. The familiar call of The Hustler. I'm not speaking of the " independent pharmaceutical supplier" but the smooth talking salesperson willing to put you down with the latest Mary Mary or TCB cd, or that new Denzel flick or that lotion your ashy ass is in need of.
Just consider this my enterprising bredren and/or sistren: If you have the drive and energy to stand all day and hawk this, that and the third, you ARE a "distribution company" . Make your OWN film. album, T-shirt,etc., you have the making of a "corporation".
But until you sharpen these skills, and stop selling yourself short, you will always be a day late and a dollar short. -VB
